Description
We have had her since 2007 and it has been a fantastic and very reliable car. Full service history until 100,000 miles only an oil change as we intended to sell her. Just re-listed as the MOT was coming to its end, and has passed. Now expires 06/09/2015.
The car comes with all the bells and whistles, including a lovely 180 bhp engine (same as in the Audi TT of the same age).
The car also comes with WindowSox for the rear doors - these are brilliant for kids as you can have the window open in the summer but protects them from sunlight.
This is a very good car to drive and very roomy - one of the bigger estates - and handles very well. General condition is good but as you would expect from an 11 year old car it could do with some TLC, Cam belt and Water pump were replaced at 60,000 miles and will need doing at 120,000 miles (I think the new waterpump has a metal impeller so probably won't need replacing). Just had front suspension mount bearing replaced.
- Some scratches and marks here and there.
- Corrosion on tailgate - see pictures.
- Paint pealing off bonnet - bonnet was replaced after the roofer dropped a ladder on the car! - see pictures
- Seats are in good condition but the leather is cracking on the driver's seat, but it is not pealing and is smooth
- Lights in boot are not working, I understand the switch is in the lock. Needs one light unit replacing.
- Driver's door does not lock remotely, you have to use the key
- Drinks holder is broken by driver's seat - thanks to a little boy called Albert.
Viewings / test drives by appointment only. Proof of insurance will be required to test drive the car.
The car is for sale to UK residents only, I will not ship the car nor accept payment in anything else other than £s Sterling.
I have advertised the car locally so will remove before sale ends if a buyer comes forward.
