SKODA OCTAVIA VRS ESTATE 2.0 TURBO (PETROL) IN BLUE
FULL SERVICE HISTORY, INCLUDING RECENT CAM BELT & WATER PUMP
OUTSTANDING CONDITION!
I am selling my beautiful Octavia VRS due to my partner buying a brand new SUV and I have started a new venture that came with a company car to use, therefore, it is unrealistic to have three cars between the two of us. I have owned the VRS since February and I can honestly say it is one of the best cars I have ever owned. The car is a 2006 mark 2 model and comes with the number plate 'KU06 ONR' – not the one in the pictures as that is a private plate that has now been placed on retention. It is a very reluctant sale as I searched high and low to get one of such quality and low mileage. The Skoda name now has a fantastic reputation and driving on just amplifies that!
The car is in the gorgeous unmarked blue with amazing xenon highlights fitted as a manufactures factory upgrade that was an expensive optional extra on ordering it as a new car. It has had 4 former keepers and has been very well looked after and maintained throughout. The mileage is very low for its age and the car reflects that with its looks and performance. I am a non smoker as was the guy I brought it from, there is no evidence of a smoker being in the car which cancels out any horrible stains or odours. The only down side is that the alloy wheels have some slight marks on them but nothing bad in any way I just have to be honest. The tyres are all great with loads of tread and life left in them.
As mentioned, the car has full Skoda main dealer service history. It has had (in May) nearly £800 spent on it for a major service (the 60,000 mile service), in addition - the cam belt was changed (second change in its life due to manufactures recommendations and piece of mind when I brought it to ensure it remains a gem - no expense spared in looking after it) and a new water pump to partner it. Therefore, any work required has all ready been done, making it a maintenance free car for a few years saving hundreds of pounds! The old cam belts never failed or snapped, Skoda recommends the change on mileage or age, which ever comes first.
It comes complete with all the manuals and documentation as you would expect from a dealer if buying it brand new in addition all the past MOT’s and receipts for any work done are present, plus two remote keys. It is total HPI clear, true mileage, never been in any form of accident or mechanical damage, etc, etc. It really is a beautiful example. The turbo is excellent and pulls as you would expect with the added bonus of cheap car insurance for its 200 BHP power output. I pay £200 a year fully comp for two of us as named drivers! Bargain!
The service book has the following (which can be verified by any Skoda main dealer):
Delivery inspection – 14/03/06
Service by Skoda – 04/03/08 (11969 miles)
Service by Skoda – 23/03/10 (15160 miles)
Service by Skoda, major service including cam belt and water pump replacement – 08/03/12 (20222 miles)
Service by Skoda – 08/02/13 (33883 miles)
Service by Skoda – 24/03/14 (48631 miles)
Service by Skoda, major service including cam belt and water pump replacement – 14/05/15 (59392 miles)
As you can see the car has been so well looked after and wanted for nothing. As mentioned, the last service was the one I had done where the cam belt and water pump were changed again just for peace of mind when buying a used car and following the recommendations by Skoda as mentioned above. I also had the MOT done 10/04/15 where it flew past with two minor advisories that were bothamended during the last service.
Basic car specification:
0 – 60 mph – 7.3 seconds
Top speed – 147 mph
BHP – 200
Read the full review on the Parkers Guide website or any website for that matter. It is a fantastic machine that is so practical as well as powerful and very well built and designed. The engine is the same used on the VW Golf GTI (2005 model), so proven to be reliable and bomb proof! The old Skoda reputation has long gone, they are powered by VW! The car is very, very quick and this one is totally un-abused and un-modified in any way.
The usual stuff (sorry) – the car is sold as seen and will not be released until all monies are paid in full by cash, PayPal, bank transfer or cash. The car can be seen in Tewkesbury (just off J9 of the M5).
The start bid is set at £6000 with no reserve, but realistically. The car will receive a full mini valet before collection by the new owner. A real bargain.
Many thanks for looking and please ask any questions!
