Description
Mileage is 143000, but will go up as the car is in daily use. Mostly main service dealer servicing (we have a pile of receipts) and some specialist. The last three services have been carried out by me, every 10,000 miles. The cam belt has been changed twice (Nov 2010 @54145 miles by main dealer; March 2014 @ 116832 by independent). It has also had a new clutch and dual mass flywheel also in March 2014 COST 1200 POUNDS!!! Lots of history, with even receipts for new tyres - currently 4 Michelin Energy tyres are on the car - all with good tread. Turbo was replaced under warranty at 125k.
So, bad bits:
Bodywork - not bad for mileage, however, nearside front wing is a bit crumpled as a deer decided to glance off the car earlier this year. Not that noticeable from a distance, but not straight. Also, both sills have a dent each where the car has been caught on a cerb. Otherwise, all other panels straight.
Engine Management Light. This is on permanently, and throws up the same two codes for a fuel temperature sensor (which I have replaced) and a throttle actuator motor - again replaced. Conclusion is an electrical glitch, but at the moment I am struggling to find the time to trace!
So that's it. Please ask if you need any other info. Service book and handbooks, green slip of v5, as well as two keys, are all present. A great, reliable family car that still has excellent fuel consumption - I regularly get 60+mpg on a run into work
