For sale my musso gx 220 purchased from new in nov 1997 in essex, originally purchased for the use of towing my boat to Europebefore I brought this vehicle I tested all that was out there , complete car verdict gave the jeep best on road accolade 1997 which beat 9 other vehicle in its class
my vehicle was loaded with lots of optional extras with towing in mind, cost from new was £30,000 with an additional £10,000 added at a later date, for those who require a towing vehicle there dose not come any better than a Mercedes gear box and running gear which the gx 220 has to offer, Mercedes had not released a four by four when I purchased my musso but had entered into a joint venture with SsangYong the company. shortly after the success of the gx220 Mercedes launched there ml range which has indeed the same engine and running gear as the musso.
Because of having three other vehicle in the household use of the musso has been kept to minimum hence the 40,400 genuine mileage . probably the best specked vehicle in its class , car was serviced last year and drives as well as when purchased the seats where covered from new and the leather seats have never been sat on directly.car had a new engine thermostat gauge fitted in November of last year and moving part greased as required during service.
I am selling my boat soon so my requirement for this outstanding reliable vehicle are no longer required.great for towing a caravan / boat / car transporter what ever you need to tow with 3500 kg weight limit there really is no limit to what the vehicle is god for. car comes complete with £2000 worth of hi fi, double towing electrics ,full leather ,thule £1000 top box, rear hot and cold cool box.
complete with full closure alarm and immobiliser system car is still a well spec vehicle for its age.
