1963 Studebaker Avanti
THE 1963 Detroit Autorama Show Car! Frame-off restoration.
Retro-fit R-3 Granatelli engine.
Restored by Classic Auto Restoration and Myers's Studebaker.
White/red Phantom interior. Originally an R-2, R-3 engine installed by Granatelli after the Autorama.
The only car made with a leather drivers seat ONLY.
Build sheet from the Studebaker Historical Museum states “tag Detroit Show” and “Show Finish”.
Perfect in every way. (Photos are all over a year old, I will try to get updated photos soon.)
Engine is an R-3 and has no serial number. The original engine was an R-2.
Appraised $85k-$130k
