Description

Hi Guys Nice body excellent frame only 68000 miles, fully carpeted with embroidered Studebaker matsI spent most of my life on mud, gravel, and tar roads out west. No Salt but plenty of snow, rain, mud . I was not a "daily" driver so I didn't see too much of it. My frame is excellent as well as all my floorboards and I don't have the usual convertible rust spots because I was never run in the rain nor left out in the rain. The gravel shields did their job so they got eaten up, and some metal behind the wheels got some "gravel blast" type damage . That's almost unnoticeable and not structural. My present owner spent months trying to chip off all the mud that had collected over the years along with gravel, tar and what ever . He had to change my master cylinder to get my brakes working good. All my other brake parts were renewed a while back and were checked by him. All like brand new. He spent a lot of time redoing my "Climatizer" system. You know, the heater. It needed new air duct, hoses fittings, controls, and valving. My cores were good. My present owner replaced all my fluids, lubed all my joints and moving parts. got my wipers working again and MOST of all got my top mechanism working again. Along with the wiring and switch I have nice Studebaker hub caps and trim rings. All excellent. Sadly my owner has had some bad health issues and can no longer do my check ups, so he hopes to pass me on to another good owner. I drive nicely and my tires are radials so I ride nice too. . Started up every 2-3 weeks. I must be carried in a closed carrier because { don't have the canvas for my top. All the bows and front trim are there and it does go up and down. My owner intended to Top me But! You guys better bid for me or be Sad. There are some goodies that go with me, such as an original radio and an original NOS Antenna that can be raised and lowered from inside the car. That is a very rare accessory,! He has all kinds of repair manuals and parts books to go with me.
Offer high or too bad you're sad!!
