Description
First: The brown you see in the doors and other places on the car through the white is not rust! The car was originally brown. It was given a cheap white paint repaint at some point in its life. The white is pealing and the brown is showing through
I bought this Studebaker GT Hawk in California and had it transported to Wisconsin. I planned to restore it and add it to my Studebaker collection. My plans have changed and I need to sell this amazing car.
I has a clear California title. It is rust free. It has a 289 V* engine. It runs and we drove it up and down the driveway under its own power. I have the original build order from Studebaker. The car has 1957 Hawk side grills in it but I have the correct 1962 side grills for it.
It has California baked interior but I have a very nice red interior to replace it with. I will need new tires. It originally was painted brown but at sometime in its life it was given a cheap white repaint. Some of the white paint is pealing off showing brown underneath the white. It looks like rust but in is actually brown paint.
there is extra trunk lid with better overlay.
Look at the photos.
Plan to pick up the car in Eau Claire, WI or arrange to have it transported.
