Description
1962 Studebaker Gran Turismo Hawk. V8 289 Engine with 3 on the tree. Was running great up until 2012. When my wife became pregnant with my daughter I stopped regular maintenance. Should just need all the fluids flushed and replaced and a new battery to turn on again. I have owned it since 2002.
In 2003 I pulled the engine and transmission out to replace all gaskets. And since all was out I painted the engine block and Transmission gloss black and had the valve covers chromed along with the carburetor cover, fan cover and a few other items. I also painted the engine compartment.
In the 18 years I have owned the car I may have driven it 100 miles total. I was in the military most of the time I owned it. And as stated before I haven't turned it on since 2012.
