1960 Studebaker Hawk 2 Door Coupe
Up for your consideration is an extremely very nice 1960 Studebaker Hawk 2 Door Coupe. Restored many years ago and has been well preserved with the best of care. Final assembly date was 5-19-1960 and delivered to a Studebaker dealer in Nashville, Tennessee. Mileage should not be counted on as being accurate and because of age mileage is exempt but with the overall excellent condition of this automobile it is very possible that mileage is very close to what it shows on odometer.
This beautiful Studebaker Hawk is owned by a friend of mine and he has asked me to be of assistance in the sale of this automobile.
Now for some particulars
Finished in the beautiful original white sand color and the paint shows extremely well. The body is very clean and straight with no dings or dents. The chrome bumpers show very well along with all trim. The body is also free of any rust. The factory original wheel covers are also in excellent condition.
The interior is beautiful everywhere you look. The leather seat coverings are like new. Carpeting, dash, door panels all show very nicely. Even the factory original steering wheel is extremely nice and what a accent to the beautiful interior.
The undercarriage really dictates how nice this automobile has been preserved over 61 years. Very clean, no signs of rust or scaled rust. Very fresh and extremely nice. As shown on the passenger car production order this Studebaker was ordered with undercoating. The drive train consists of the V-8 engine complimented with the Flight-O-Matic automatic transmission and both perform very well with no issues.
Some of the mechanicals and maintenance done in the last 2 years and recently to have pleasureable and trouble free driving include:
Lube, oil change and filter
New spark plugs and spark plug wires
New fuel pump
Clean adjust and lubricate all brake hardware all 4 assemblies
Clean and pack front wheel bearings
New battery
Recored radiator (kept original upper and lower tanks)
4 New Coker period correct wide white wall tires
