2003 Subaru Forester 2.5 xs. MUST BE PICKED UP ON FLATBED TRAILER from my location (New Fairfield, CT) Buyer pays any and all associated costs. NOT CURRENTLY ABLE TO BE DRIVEN due to broken rear strut rubbing tire. CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON as EXHAUST SYSTEM NEEDS REPLACING. (Was running fine with no check engine light before major exhaust leakcurrently runs, but sputters quite a bit) UNDERCARRIAGE HAS RUST. REAR JACKING POINT NEEDS REINFORCEMENT.
Other flaws include:
Large dent above rear wheel adjacent to gas cap (pictured). Does not impede access for pumping gas.
Scrape and small crack on front bumper (pictured)
Small dings in hood, doors, and fenders. Minor, but noticeable.
Small tears in driver's seat. Minor stains on all seats.
Paint on rear bumper and interior cargo liner.
Driver's power window just stopped working again.
Slow leak in one tire.
Positives include:
Body in generally good shape.
Interior in decent shape for its age.
Decent tread on tires. Spare tire and additional new tire on rim included.
Engine well maintained.
I've owned this car for over five years, and it's been very reliable; but the onset of multiple repairs being needed simultaneously encouraged me to get something newer. This car can be used for parts, or as a mechanic's special in need of many repairs only.
Car will be sold as is.
