Description
For Sale is a 1999 GT Luxury Forester. I owned this car 5 years ago and put a lot of money into it.I have since bought it back with a crook engine and have put a new engine in it.
It was engineered for a 2.5 but have put a 2.0lt engine with top end build/timing belt/new Excedy clutch STD turbo. I will list the goods and bads and i think price reflects the condition.
Bads- Body clear coming off bonnet and roof(pictures best description), LHR door has been opened and bent door, RH steering rack boot splilt/Drivers seat torn/
Goods- Engine stock 2.0lt top end build with all new geniune gaskets/seals, new timing belt/machined heads/fliuds. New clutch/Gear box from 2006 model with less than 60K. Split fuel rail/Walbro pump
Suspension is new rear kyb and Standard WRX struts, Front brakes are STI Calipers, Heavy duty whiteline rear 24mm sway bar and mounting blocks, 3 inch mild steel exhaust.
with magnaflow muffler. STI cluster showing 131XXX kms that was legally fitted when 2.5lt was fitted/engineered back at around 80K.The car had around 250 K with speedo swapped.Turbo timer
Overall car drives very nice but exterior lets it down. Its registered til 12/07/2016. I have also taken the stereo out but left speakers. The sunroof works and does not leak.
