Description
This Subaru Forester belonged to me and now belongs to my father, we are selling it as he has bought a bigger 4x4 for towing his caravan.
The car is in good condition, it has been super reliable and has been all over the country. It's only had the tow bar on for the last year or so and has only towed the caravan a handful of times, which it did with no problem.
It has a few marks, as you would expect from a car of its age, but nothing that impacts on its performance. It looks very tidy at a glance and you would have to look carefully to find every mark. The most noticeable imperfection is a small ding in the bonnet near the leading edge where a pigeon committed suicide 2 weeks ago!
It has got full electrics, including a huge full length sunroof and heated seats. It has also got twin electrics on the tow bar, cruise control and big front fog lights. The first owner chose almost every option when it was new. All the electrics work perfectly. The air con is cool but not freezing. The low ratio box engages as it should and the hill-hold brake works perfectly, making hill starts a piece of cake!
It has Bridgestone Duellers on the front and budget tyres on the back, all with plenty of tread, including the spare.
The MOT was due in September, so we had it MOT'd yesterday at the garage we always use, so it has a full year. It is currently taxed so a test drive is not a problem, although the tax obviously doesn't remain on the car. The service history is a mix of service book and receipts, and it was last serviced at 95k, it is now on 101,100 miles.
I bought it from Gilesgate Subaru in Hexham, who had sold it to the previous owner as well, and when I got a company car, my dad bought it off me as it was a shame to see it go, but unfortunately it is now surplus to requirements.
My dad and i agreed that we would drive this car anywhere at a minutes notice with complete confidence, and it was going to be used to take the caravan to the south coast in 2 weeks time, but the new car now has that pleasure!
Anyone who has owned a Forester before will know what a decent all rounder they are, the boot is huge, it is great off road and in the snow, and this particular car is a good example for anyone looking for safe family transport or a willing work-horse.
Ring me on 07947731274 for more information or to view it.
Thanks for looking.
By the way, please ignore my '0' feedback score, my ex-wife got everything, including the eBay account!!!
