Description
This listing is for my parents 2003 plate Subaru Forester X all wheel drive estate car.
Will be sold with 12 months MOT.
It is an extremely clean example for its age with a full service history (9 service stamps) and only one previous owner from new.
The clock is reading 78723 currently but that may increase slightly as the car is still being used.
History
My parents bought the car in 2010 and had the timing belt and pulleys replaced almost immediately on 51110 miles receipt available.
The two front shock absorbers were then replaced on 55000 miles as one had a leak. All work has been carried out by qualified professionals (receipts available) and it has always been kept in tip top condition, this is evident by the fact that at its last MOT it passed without a single advisory. I am going to put it in for its MOT early so you drive away with a full twelve months as i am sure it will fly through since its only done 3500 miles since its last one.
Reason for sale
My parents bought the car mainly for getting about in the winter as they live in Glossop and it can get quite snowy. Other than that it has been used occasionally to tow our sailing boat from north wales and so does have a tow hook. This car has been absolutely fantastic with the 4x4 system being second to none in less than ideal conditions. The only reason for sale is it is no longer required as they have replaced it with a VW camper van which is very good in bad conditions and there is just no point in paying anther set of road tax insurance etc.

The tyres are Toyo H/T open country all round and are fairly worn having about 3-4mm tread on the front and 4-5 on the back.
The only bad thing I can say about this car is that there is currently a CD jammed in the CD player, but we’re hoping to get that sorted before it sells as I would like the CD back.
I can honestly say you wont’t find another Forester of this age in as good condition, it really is exceptional an really needs to be viewed to be appreciated.
The buyer will be responsible for picking up the car.
