SUBARU FORESTER XT AUTO
If you're reading this then you probably already know that Subaru's all wheel drive system regarded as the best on the market in this range of vehicle. If you're not aware of this then I recommend researching it and looking on YouTube at some videos with the Forester out competing all other vehicles.
I have owned the vehicle since the summer and recently had the cambelt, bearings, idler, tensioner, aux and power steering belts replaced by Subaru specialist Tim Farmer. He also replaced the radiator, thermostat, and water pump. The oil and filter has been changed in the 1400 miles that I have driven the car. Unfortunately I do not have any other service history, although I do have the previous owners details should you wish to contact them t see if they have it. I intended to keep the car for some time but due to a change of job and significant increase in my commute I cannot justify the fuel cost at present. The car drives perfectly and feels very strong, I know having owned three of these Subaru Forester XT's - simply because they are excellent practical all round cars.
I will advise you that due to the bumper and tailgate it is a category D vehicle.I know this will put some people off but if I can put your mind at ease, it makes no difference to insurance, and for Cat D cars they have changed the rules requiring a VIC test because they recognise there is no need for it at this low level damage. I was advised it was the bumper/tailgate upon purchase.
The car drives perfectly as it should, without fault. One of the wiper motors does not work but I have not yet replaced it, you can pick one up on eBay for £9.99.
I have replaced tyres on the front axle, with Nexen N Blu HD, they are B rated for wet weather and braking and low road noise, I put them on all my cars. I also have two spare all terrain tyres I will give to the winner.
I am 100% since 2005. If you look in my history you will see I have sold my cars on here before with very good feedback. I live just a 2 miles from a train station so can pick you up from there if required.
