Description
Selling my 2004 STI with a built engine. I've had this car for a year and a half. It was a Tennessee car for the first 10 years of its life, and it has never seen winter since it has been in Michigan. It has a well maintained interior that has never been smoked/vaped in. It has <56k miles on the chassis, and <30k on the built engine. The previous owner had the engine built by TopSpeed Motorsports in Atlanta, GA, one of the best Subaru shops on the East Coast. It comes with multiple tunes by Scott Siegel, one of the best Subaru tuners in the country, who tuned the car for approximately 12 hours to ensure it was as good AND as safe for the engine as it could possibly be.
The hood scoop was recently repainted and the vehicle comes with a bottle of touch up paint that was matched to the vehicle's exact paint color in June 2017.
Cons:
Suffers from phantom misfire codes. CEL sets periodically. The previous owner changed plugs and coils, and had injectors leak/flow tested and all are good. Phantom misfiring is a common problem with lightweight flywheels.
Feel free to contact me with any questions or if you want additional pictures. This is a near showroom quality car with a ton of additional horsepower, yet built with safety and reliability in mind to eliminate the common EJ257 power issues.
Asking price is $19k and that is pretty firm. I will consider trades + cash on your end for the right car. Clean MI title in hand. VIN available upon request.
The modifications are as follows:
Drivetrain:
TopSpeed RR1 Longblock (Pinned, improved main and rod bearing oil flow, 600+ awhp capable)
