Subaru Impreza WRX STI Type UK, 2.0 DCCD Wide Track, and PPP 301bhp 32,800 miles

This is one of the last of the better engine 2.0 litre turbo cars (believe there is only 600 left on the road) produced as they switched to the 2.5 not long after making this car, this little Blobeye managed to slip into the gap where the shape changed from Blobeye to Hawkeye and became the wide track design and also they added the adjustable DCCD which includes manual Diff locking ability via a switch in the cabin. One of the, if not THE LOWEST mileage examples of the WRX STI Type UK in the WHOLE of UK, I challenge you to find one that runs as smooth and drives as sweet as this, its like its brand new!!!! and with 33,000 on the clock this thing is only going to go up in value if kept nice like I'm doing.

First of the DCCD models with the Wide Track body
2.0 Turbo with the factory fitted Prodrive Performance Pack (including certificate from the original factory fitting shown in the pictures) Prodrive no longer do Subaru Performance collaborations as of 2010 so this makes it a rare breed.
Brand new looking unmarked Gold STI Original Alloy Wheels, with Bridgestone Potenza tyres all round, these are all legal but the tread is down to the last 1000miles or so I would say. no minors on the MOT for the tread.
Parking sensors fitted into the front and rear of the car, which doubles as a laser detection/scrambling device for radar guns, professionally fitted with lights on the dash by the clock and am on/off switch below the steering column.
No rust, dents, scratches on any of the panels, there is no recorded accidents or HPI on this vehicle. Bodywork is in fantastic condition of the and still looks mint after 10 years and comes in the rarer silver colour.
As you know the STI comes with the Pink injectors standard, but this car has had the Pink badge fitted, possibly as it was one of the last few 2.0 models or last few of this year/shape off the line but it really looks the part whether its had further work done to increase power I don't know but it certainly packs a punch on acceleration.
Full service history, all done at Subaru apart from the last owner who decided to put a stamp from his local garage in the book which is a shame as it could have been Full Dealer Service History which I know looks better on paper, especially with a performance car such as this. To get this back on track I have just taken it for a service at Subaru costing £300 quid as I have the brakes bled out and the brake fluid switched out for the new EU standard type fluid and I have done a full change of all the discs for Mtec Vented drilled and grooved which are slightly more noisy under braking but keep cooler and avoid fade better, also added Mintex pads all round to go with them, these are still being run in and have done 200 miles, the braking is getting better and better and compared to the no brakes it had when I got it I could not be more pleased with its improvement. Its amazing what taking care of a car can do!! At the service the garage commented on it being in remarkable condition and the lowest mileage they had seen in a long time, it flew through the service.
The Garage also remarked during serive that the rear dampers were beginning to wear and make a knocking sound, this instigated the dampers on the rear shocks being serviced and have both been removed and serviced before being put back together and Grease points have been added allowing grease to be gunned into the problem area which dries out and knocks, these are now absolutely spot on with their damping qualities and also super quiet and knock free, they guy did a cracking job on them :)
The fuel is now Super unleaded only due to the PPP recommendation so always run her on super unleaded, the average MPG can go as high as 30 if your pottering along the motorway but the habit is for your foot to get heavier to feel the 301bhp so expect more like 20!!!!
Engine is spot on and comes with the water injected intercooler from the cabin switch as with all the STIs, this is a rally car for the road. and would easily take on the track straight out of the box.
Engine is also clean and tidy, will add a picture of under the bonnet tomorrow in the hopefully sunshine, I have removed the support strut and done a quick spray job on the red end parts as they were knackered and I was going to bin it, but it actually looks ok now its been sprayed so I put it back on, these are only 50 quid but I thought seeing as it does make the engine bay look a bit better ill leave it in there, its easy to remove and replace and I'm a believer in unmolested original cars so really its not an original part anyway so if you want it removed I can do that.
Exhaust system is part of the PPP so the back box is the most wonderful sounding gurgle from the boxer engine you can get, very throaty and doesn't skip a beat, always warmed up properly as the car will not go into high performance mode until at the correct temp so you know this has not been abused when cold.
All windows and glass including windscreen unmarked no chips etc
Best looking model made in my opinion.
Interior is absolutely mint condition, no tears marks, burns, scratches,
Clarion CD player is mounted in the front which I lately discovered goes to an Amp professionally installed under the passenger seat, this in turn is wired into the rear where I assume another amp was wired up powering a sub which has been removed along with the amp but the wiring I have tidied up under the rear seat and tucked away so should you want to add in a nice amp to boost the bass on the radio/cd player (as that's what it lacks now it has a mid and top range amp only) then the wiring is all there for you under the rear seat to re attach, this can be reached by unbolting the rear seat via a couple of bolts so an easy job.
I can print a copy of the full STI manual out if required or give it to you on an USB stick, I managed to find it online.
Full set of paperwork is included, old bills, MOTs service history, manual, logbook, its the full package.
Main key is a bit tatty, but there is another perfectly brand new key which I have kept new as the tatty one works fine and I tend to make things tatty so I figured I would keep the spare key as a new one for sale with the car.
Absolutely no knocks, bangs or funny noises when going over bumps, I hate noise and this thing is really perfect on the road and drives superb, when I got her she needed a couple of bearings which have been done and now she is 100% perfect for the new owner who will not be disappointed.
I suggest coming to have a look, I will gladly take you for a spin as I'm insured in the vehicle, there will not be anyone test driving it or coming offering silly money please, I know what its worth compared to others selling on here with 60k on the clock for 10-12000 quid and I'm going to set the price high now and hope for sensible offers for the car and that people come to see her before offering £7000 which frankly is just insulting me, I think the first person to hear the engine and feel the power and how smooth this car is will buy her without a hesitation.
