Description
So, up for sale is my immaculate Subaru Impreza Hawkeye Spec C Type RA. I bought the car last November after selling my 22B. It's a shame but this car just is not getting used, I have done circa 450 miles since buying it which included the 210 mile trip from Devon to London, 2 trips to FB Tuning in Wycombe and 110 miles from London to Gloucester where I now live. In all, I have driven it probably 8 times.
The car was imported in 2007 with 1850 miles on by Litchfield Imports and it was road mapped by Bob Rawle by its first owner (I'm the 2nd owner) and pretty much kept as a toy that never came out very often. In a 42 month period between 2010 and 2014 it covered 42 miles such as the owners concern of keeping such low mileage on it. The car itself has only seen rain once in 7 years, and that was the day I picked it up.
In the time I have owned if I have made some sensible modifications to an already great car. Cosmetically it benefits from:
Genuine Mcgard STI wheel nuts.
Black mudflaps with powdercoated black brackets.
ATI pod housing Defi 60mm Racer Series, boost, oil pressure and oil temp.
Genuine S204 STI/ Yamaha front and rear dampers.
Damd flat bottom steering wheel.
New lightweight battery.
Brand new Prodrive mats.
MOT until Feb 16.
I also had the following done less than 200 miles ago:
Engine oil.
Gearbox oil.
Brake fluid.
Anti freeze.
Oil filter.
Diff oil.
Spark plugs.
MOT due Feb 2016.
I also swapped the discs and pads to PFC Z rated pads and DBA 4000 grooved discs.
The car does also come with the following JDM spec:
The Spec C Type RA is only available in blue/white and silver (which is unique to this model).
Only 350 made worldwide.
Applied model code for this is GDB/F4FH
The gearbox code is TY856WB7JA 6 speed with DCCD with short throw gearleaver. 1.2.3.4 gears same as the uk box but 5th and 6th are a shorter ratio.
Roof vent
Lightweight boot lid.
Lightweight bonnet.
Lightweight glass all round.
Lightweight roof skin with roof vent.
Lightweight interior carpets/no sound deadening/no carpets in the boot
Lightweight battery.
No rear washer wiper.
Lightweight electric window motors.
Air con.No underseal.
Enkei wheels(exlusive to the spec-c type ra with cast sti logo’s in the castings)17”x8” 114pcd shod with Bridgstone re 070 tyres.
Type ra attacking the Nuremberg ring sticker on the front lower door panels.
Sti 4 way adjustable struts.
Sti pink springs.
Sti 21mm rear anti roll bar with ball jointed rear stabilizer bracket.
Sti pillowball lateral links
Twinscroll rollerbearing turbo. VF37
Front titanium strut brace.
Rear boot brace
Waterspray tank in the boot behind the rear seats with auto and manual model (12 litre)
13.1 quick rack.
Engine oil cooler and gearbox oil cooler.
Brembo vented disk brakes.
Alcantre interior trim/seats with sti logo stitched in/black dash and surrounds.
8000 red line.
The inlet manifold is bigger than the norm
The car is in an absolutely stunning and immaculate condition and wants for nothing. I am putting the car up for sale at £26,000 but I am also inviting offers. I'm not desperate to sell and if it doesn't sell at a fair offer I'll keep it for a few more years.
