Description
2000 Subaru Impreza turbo version 6 facelift classic model & modified
I bought the car in the summer as a project.
The engine was completely standard when i bought it.
I have recently had the engine rebuilt and upgraded at AK tuning in the last couple of months.
Which consists of:
Heads skimmed
Upgraded head gaskets
Full timing belt kit
Water pump
Thermostat
Spark plugs
Blitz racing oil filter
Upgrades to engine:
Bigger roller ball bearing turbo
(cant remember what make will check with the garage what it was an update the advert)
Turbo back exhaust system (sounds really nice)
Air filter induction kit
Upgraded blue silicon induction intake pipe (to the turbo)
Upgraded blue silicon radiator coolant water hoses
Front mount intercooler
Dump valve (sounds really nice)
STI high pressure radiator cap
STI blue light weight aluminium oil cap
I also have a brand new upgrade Walbro 255 fuel pump if the new owner wanted to get the car remapped.
The car runs fine, boosts perfect and pulls like a train. The car is fast and upgraded ready for a remap if the new owner wanted extra power (the car doesnt need a remap runs and drives fine but would give you more power if wanted)
Car has also has these upgrades:
Bigger gold Brembo brakes
STI carbon front strut brace
Rear strut brace (rear strut brace not fitted but if i get time at some point this week im going to put it on)
Black lexus rear lights
Crystal head lights with xenon super white light bulb set
Crystal side lights
Clear side repeaters
Crystal front indicators
Tinted windows
17" gold alloy wheels
Blue light weight rays wheel nut & locking nut set
Has carbon fibre boost gauge pod with a digital boost gauge (boost gauge started to play up this weekend but if i cant work out what is wrong with it i have a brand new replacement one)
MOT until June 2016.
The car is really pretty but does need a little bit of TLC on the bodywork but nothing major has a little bit of paint bubbling on the rear arches. There is a little rust patch on the boot lid near the key lock about the size of a 1p/2p coin. And a bit on the rear boot spoiler where a previous owner has filled in the brake light there is a little crack there but it is an easy fix. One of the roof strips are missing.
The car has 171000 on the clock currently and is in daily use but has a full book of service history up to 152048 then it saids a second hand engine that had done 86000 was fitted at around 161300. There is also other paperwork such as previous MOTS & paperwork for a tracker that was fitted on the car in 2013 and how to change it and activate it to a new owner i assume it is still on the car but i have never used it.
Viewing is welcome any questions just ask. Can send more pictures if needed.
Seeing if i can get a RWD car before i continue with this project.
Feel free to have a look at my other listing of my BMW 118D.
Thanks for looking.
