Description

Subaru Impreza GB270 Wagon Number 56 of 100
It's with a heavy heart I am deciding to sell my much beloved Impreza. I have recently moved down to Cornwall and I am loathed at the fact this lovely rare beast could get all scuffed/scratched up driving down all the country lanes.
I will be completely redoing my house and have now also got land and animals so require a pickup really as it would be far more suitable for my lifestyle change and impending building works.
I purchased the car in Feb 2014 with 41k odd miles on the clock.
As it currently stands it has 49,174 miles on the clock (this will go up).
Apart from a service by the dealer I purchased the car from, it has Subaru main dealer, or Subaru specialist service history (Greenwood Racing Developments).
Last Serviced 17/10/2015.
MOT'd until December 2016 (no advisories)
It comes with the much more desirable full factory leather interior.
It has an electric sunroof, which I was told wasn't even an optional extra when these came out, so is a real rarity.

The car has been mildly/tastefully modified/uprated inc:

K&N replacement panel filter (Sept 2014)Whiteline Front Anti-Lift Kit (Sept 2014)I had the front lower suspension arms replaced with the better alloy ones (Sept 2014)Super Pro Front Roll Centre Adjustment Kit (Sept 2014)Tein Street Basis Suspension (Oct 2015)Whiteline Rear Steel Drop Links (Sept 2014)New Standard ball joint type drop links to match the change of front lower arms (Sept 2014)EBC Red Stuff Front Pads (October 2015)The Passenger Airbag recall has been done (Dec 2015)Pioneer FH-700BT Double Din Head Unit which has Bluetooth etc..Vibe Slick AmpVibe Slick 6 component front door speakersVibe Slick 4 Co-Ax rear door speakersSome Dynamat fitted around all four door speakersPIAA Super Silicone WipersRoger Clark Motorsport uprated fuel pump (Sept 2014)Japspeed High Flow Stainless Sports Cat (Sept 2014)Remapped and Rolling Roaded at Surrey Rolling Road by the late, great Jolly Green Monster (Sept 2014)Original plastic Subaru boot linerOriginal Subaru Headlight ProtectorsGB270 Intercooler CoverWheels refurbished in 2014Always been warmed up, never 'ragged' from been run on Shell V-Power Nitro+Brake Fluid change (Sept 2014)Diff and Gearbox oil changed (Oct 2015)
As you can see I have just made a few 'sensible' upgrades, mainly as I was advised to get the car remapped as they were all mapped the same from the factory and not to the actual individual car
The performance upgrades I had done at the same time were all recommended by Jolly Green Monster.
The suspension was changed due to the rear shocks knocking, and I didn't see the point of not uprating it slightly, the car is sitting at a sensible height, pretty much as it was before.
The front suspension arms were changed to the alloy ones as the steel ones were pretty rusty. The Super Pro roll centre adjustment kit was fitted to properly realign everything after the arm change.
The Whiteline rear drop links were acquired at the same time, and off the same person as the alloy arms so they were put on.
Wheels were not referbished due to kerbing, just as a bodyshop friend was short of work and did me a good deal.
Upgraded sound system for obvious reasons! It has aux and USB front input, CD and radio. The bluetooth mic is run up to and clipped onto the sun visor and all works perfectly.
The price i'm asking is to reflect the fact the car that it IS a rare car, has been well looked after, has pretty low mileage, has been sensibly improved upon from standard and has all been done properly.
It also has the much desirable full leather interior, rather than the rather nasty cloth seats you mostly see. You quite often see cars that are bog standard, have the cloth seats and double the mileage for around £9-£10,000.
Also I am in no rush to sell, as I hopefully will be purchasing a pick up in the next month.
