Description
Up for auction is a 2002 Subaru Impreza TS Sport Wagon.
The good:
Runs and drives great.
I have service records on hand.
Oil change in April of this year, driven less than 100 miles since.
Power windows, power locks, wipers, and cruise control all work great.
AC blows cold!
Engine was rebuilt in 2012, and transmission rebuilt in 2013.
This car is a beast inthe snow and rain with the all wheel drive system. I have never beenable to get it stuck in the snow or mud. This car is light and has greattraction in the elements, they truly don't make them like this anymore.
The bad:
It was hit on the driver side and there is a dent that begins at the left front quarter panel and extends to both doors (see picture 5-6).
Rust spot on wheel well of left rear quarter panel. Sprayed with some rust-oleum to keep from worsening.
The check engine light is on as well as the parking brake light, even when the parking brake is disengaged.
This failed the NJ emissons test. The engine codes (P0420, P0301, P0303) being thrown are saying that there is a catalyst fault. The cat will need to be replaced.
The speakers are not working and sound very faint, this may be due to a loose wire somewhere that I have not been able to find.
