UP FOR AUCTION IS A 2000 SUBARU IMPREZA RS 2.5 COUPE. THIS IS AN EXTREMELY RARE VEHICLE. ONLY 2375 BUILT AND SOLD.
THESE CARS ARE COLLECTORS AND VERY SOUGHT AFTER. THIS IS THE COUPE BODY, NOT THE SEDAN. THIS IS EVEN MORE RARE. IT IS A 5 SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION. THIS IS THE BEST COLOR FOR THIS CAR AND THE ONE EVERYBODY WANTS. THERE IS ONLY ONE OTHER 2.5 COUPE ON EBAY AND THE COLOR OF THAT CAR IS UNDESIRABLE. MECHANICAL: THIS CAR IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. IT RUNS AND DRIVES VERY WELL AND THERE ARE NO ISSUES WITH THE OPERATION OF THE VEHICLE. AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PHOTOS, THE ENGINE LIGHT HAS JUST COME ON. I HAVE NOT DIAGNOSED THE ISSUE, BUT COMMONLY, IT IS RELATED TO AN OXYGEN SENSOR, OR SOMETHING VERY MINOR. THE CAR IS MECHANICALLY SOUND. THE CAR HAS A VALID PA INSPECTION UNITL AUGUST OF THIS YEAR. THIS IS AN ALL WHEEL DRIVE CAR. EXCELLENT IN THE RAIN AND SNOW.
OPTIONS: Power windows, remote power door locks, CD, cruise, sunroof. Aftermarket touchscreen head unit with navigation and rear view backup camera. Factory alarm.
EXTERIOR: The most common issue on these cars is rust over the rear wheel wells. It is difficult to find one without this issue. This car has been professionally repaired in that area on both sides of the car. The job was properly done. The minor rust areas on the wheel wells arches were cut out and steel plates were welded in. The body is in very good shape, with some scratches and scrapes consistent with the car's age, but nothing major. There are not dents or major dings on the car, which is exceptional for a car of this model year.
INTERIOR: The interior is in great condition, as you can see from the photos. No rips, tears, or other issues. No cracks in the dashboard, no significant wear in any area, and the interior has been fitted with all weather Subaru floor mats.
FACTORY CONDITION: THE CAR IS OEM INSIDE AND OUT WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE FOLLOWING: An aftermarket stereo was fitted with a large touchscreen, and a reverse camera to assist in parking. The factory fog lamp lenses have been replaced with aftermarket yellow lenses, simply for aesthetics. Other than those two things, the car is completely factory. The car comes with the original factory Subaru key fob, which locks/unlocks the doors and controls the factory alarm.
MAINTENANCE: The car has had regular oil changes and tune ups. It has VERY RECENTLY had the following work done: Full brake and rotor replacement, full exhaust replacement, with dual exhaust tips, full set of brand new tires, full tune up, and a once over by a mechanic.
This will be an excellent car for someone who really appreciates it. It has been driven and treated very kindly by someone who has cared for it very well.
