Subaru Impreza turbo with PPP (Prodrive performance pack)
I am the 2nd owner and have had the car since February 2012, It had 42000 mile on when I got it and it now shows 58324. I looked at lots of these cars before I settled on this one as it had had 1 mature owner ( like myself) and had not been abused.
I decided that I wanted better performance and looks than the standard WRX. The PPP (with certificate) was fitted by Hammond of Halesworth a Subaru dealer, I went for this as it is designed for the car rather than a radical upgrade. Have not had on a rolling road but Subaru say it should be about 275 bhp which is the same as a standard STI. It is a lot quicker than a standard WRX but retains a very nice ride, its not a rock hard shake your teeth out sort.
Once the power upgrade was done, Brembo brakes were fitted front and rear with stainless braided hoses and dot 5 fluid, the 17" STI alloys were powder coated satin black, it also has a full size spare wheel. The car is not a UK300 as some might spot the sticker on the boot , I wanted a rabbit ear limited edition spoiler and it came with the boot lid, so you also get the original boot and flat spoiler that the car originally came with.
The radio is upgraded and has CD, + radio+ bluetooth for hands free, plus upgraded door speakers and tweeters in the front as the standard speakers are of low quality.
Everything works as it should, the body is very nice and straight paint is fantastic and the wheels have not been marked, you will look for a long time before finding a better car.
No test drives unless you have valid insurance and a driving license or the cash is in my hand, I will take you out and show you how the car goes. No paypal. Cheques and bank drafts will need to be cleared before car is released.
