Description
For sale is my manual 2005 Subaru Legacy Estate 2.5 SE petrol.
Just had a new clutch and flywheel fitted and has also had new front brake discs, cam belt and auxiliary belts in the last three months with all the paperwork for this is included in the service history. A very clean and tidy car with extremely comfortable heated leather seats and ice cold climate control. Selling because I no longer need the car and would like the money to fund other projects. Get ready for the winter with heated seats and four wheel drive!
Good bits: Rare metallic red paintwork with contrasting black leather and silver trim, MoT until 1st May 2015, taxed until end of December 2014, new cam belt and tensioners fitted this year including auxiliary belts, new clutch kit, flywheel and spigot bearing, permanent 4 wheel drive and high/low range transfer box, witter tow bar, good tyres (two were new this year), new front brake discs, new brake pads last year all round, Subaru rubber boot floor carpet protector (carpet is like new underneath), factory fitted load area cover, full black leather interior still like new, climate control, cruise control, tilt and slide electric glass sunroof (no leaks), front and rear electric windows, heated front seats both sides, electric drivers seat adjustment, two working keys/remotes, new exhaust about 18 months ago costing £500.
Bad bits: The alloy wheels let it down and could really do with a refurb due to bubbling paint and light scuffing and the MoT picked up on worn rear bushes on the front suspension arms which will need replacing before next May. As you'd expect with a nine year old estate car there are a few lights marks and scratches inside most notably on the centre console around the gear lever and around the rear load area. There are some light scratches on the drivers window for some reason and some very light car park dings and a chip on the left rear wheel arch.
These faults don't stand out though and are nothing more than you would expect for a car of this age. I've just tried to be as honest as I can in the description. It really is a very smart looking car and is worth having a look for yourself. You won't be disappointed!
