Description
For sale 1983 Subaru Brat
I bought it 2 years ago with the intention of restoring
but our lifestyle has changed and no longer interested in restoring automobiles.
List of repairs and upgrades during my ownership:
Rebuilt alternator
New temp sensor; valve cover gaskets; oil pressure sensor; radiator fan switch; ignition coil; O2 sensor; exhaust gaskets; one axle assembly; rear brake cylinders and shoes; spark plugs, wires; distributor cap and rotor; air cleaner; battery
Brake lines flushed; parking brake adjusted
All vacuum lines replaced
Carburetor rebuilt by National Carburetor
New catalytic converter
Its been sitting in my garage for almost 2 years now.
I recently gave it an oil change and drove down to the shop for emissions inspection.
It has developed an occasional mild hesitation during acceleration but vehicle drives well and engine runs strong.
One axle has been replaced. The other one makes a little noise when turning but perfectly driveable.
Registration is current.
Just passed CA smog inspection in February.
