Description

2013 Subaru Outback Premier for parts or engine rebuilding. There is a broken piston ring and rod and will not turn over - not sure if related. It looks like it was piston #4 that broke. Last year I rebuilt the long block after a broken exhaust seal on the right cylinder head. I didn't take apart the short block, but cleaned the pistons and cylinders to factory conditions. I did a lot of work to get it past inspection and I sprayed the engine and underbody with high heat paint to prevent rust and corrosion as we get a lot of salt on the roads in the winter. Because of this there is very little rust and no corrosion. I kept consistent with oil changes and flushed the coolant annually. No major body damage, back bumper has a hole where my trailer became unhitched while backing into the driveway. (I'm keeping the hitch) There are a lot of good usable parts for those who have a similar year and model. Many Subarus use the same parts.
New parts include:
CVT Transmission - 1 year old
Left and Right Cylinder Heads - 1 year old
Rear wheel bearings - months old
Tumbler Generator Valve Actuator (2) - months old
All brakes - 1 year old
V-belt - 1 year old
Water pump - 1 year old
A/C pipe - 1 year old
Battery - 2 years old
Up and down stream Oxygen Sensors - 1 year old
Steering column - 1 year old
Reusable parts include:
Alternator
A/C Compressor
Power steering unit
Timing chains and brackets
Cams
Radiators in good condition
Radiator fans
All in-take manifold parts
Throttle body - clean
Exhaust manifold and muffler - no leaks
Braking systems
All electrical components work and no CEL.
I also have another tumble generator and the old cylinder heads - the left one should be fine, but the right one needs rebuilding at least for the one exhaust valve stem.
As you may tell, I put a lot of care and hard work into maintaining this car; unfortunately I am just not up to doing a full tear down after completing a partial tear down last year.
Price is negotiable. I accept money orders, bank checks, and cash. Sorry no crypto.
