CURRENTLY REGISTERED WITH REGO TIL MAY 2016 BUT WILL SELLING WITH UNREG WITH RWC / ROADWORTHY CERTIFICATE + UNREGISTERED DRIVING PERMIT
This Forester will make someone very happy these Holidays! It would be a shame to just pass this in to the car yard and it is with much regret and sorrow that I list the Subaru for sale. This is far below fair price for these cars - I have just driven 1000km without it skipping a beat - serviced only 2 weeks ago with the next service due at 197000km - another 9,000km.
Selling due to family emergency - We are forced by fate and lifes hard road to switching off the life support for my Aunt this evening, and I will be in NSW the next 2 days with my Mother who's had a nervous breakdown losing her best friend and only sister. I desperately need the funds to support and help with grieving and final process for all of us. For me right now, the car is replaceable, but the memory and dignity of my family is paramount. Please text me on 0475365633. Will have roadworthy certificate for both NSW and Vic by tomorrow, with permit ready to go and driving from NSW back to Melb ASAP = this means I can deliver to NSW, the ACT, or back in Melbourne, or even Queensland (Would appreciate buyer covering any extra costs if requested).
FULL WHITE LEATHER INTERIOR WITH NEW $500 2008/9 SUBARU FORESTER RADIO TO FIT, CARGO COVER, FULL WHITE LEATHER INTERIOR - DUAL FRONT ARM RESTS, FULLY OPERATIONAL SUNROOF, CLEAN HONEST CAR AND ENGINE - MUST GO!
PRICED FOR QUICK PRIVATE SALE - TAKING THE DEALERS OFFER TOMORROW IF NO SALE!
As the name suggests, the XS Luxury is lavishly equipped. Front and side airbags, ABS, climate and cruise control, six-stack CD player, leather and a hefty panoramic sunroof are all standard. The XS's naturally-aspirated 2.5-litre boxer four lacks the outright punch of the more-sophisticated turbo 2.5, but it's by no means disappointing. Subaru has liberated an additional 8 per cent of power, bringing it to a competitive 121 kW, while torque peaks 3 Nm higher than before at 226 Nm. It also produces fewer emissions, and an electronic throttle brings improvements to driveability. Four-speed AWD auto - it's a strong performer. There's ample pulling power down low, meaning you don't have to floor it for swift rolling response, yet it's just as happy to be extended to its 6200 rpm red-line. It's impressively smooth, too, though remnants of the boxer's chuggy feel are still apparent at idle. Fuel consumption is respectably thrifty for a 2.5. Subaru - average of 9.7 L/100 km in combined urban/highway driving. The updated four-speed automatic transmission picks up no more ratios but boasts a new manual shift mode. The real plus is the way the Forester drives. With sharp steering, strong brakes and excellent balance, it goes where it's pointed with a minimum of fuss. The Subaru also rides very comfortably, absorbing the kind of broken surfaces that give many cars a case of the stutters. The flexible engine, good traction from the permanent 4WD system and the compact frame make short work of slippery, muddy or gravel roads.
