Description
A proper eye catcher. I can't drive anywhere without people pointing, staring and smiling at this little van. I have not seen another like it..
Very well finished inside compared to the Subaru Sambar. I've had great fun with this wee van but it's time to move him on.
The engine has been giving trouble and has blown a head gasket so will need an overhaul hence the starting price. I'm not a mechanic so I don't know the extent of the work required, however the engine still runs. Some bodywork tidying up required. I've driven this van every day for 4 years so it hasn't been a Sunday driving novelty. It looks like a shrunken VW camper and very similar in design to the Subaru Sambar.
I'd really like to put the time in and do the van up and keep him but realistically I don't have the time and it's only going to sit outside my house which isn't right.
Please feel free to ask any questions but no time wasters please. The van is SORN'd so I can't do a test drive and also as mentioned the engine head gasket is away so there's water and oil leakage. She will run though. 4 brand new tyres.
