Description
2013 Suzuki Jimny Automatic
Rego till December 16th 2021
142,000 kms
Logbooks & Servicing records
New rocker cover gasket and spark plug tube seals
New spark plugs
Oil & oil filter
New battery
4 x new tyres
Body presents well with a few dents here and slightly larger one on the rear.
The reason for the lower price is due to a minor transmission issue where it holds first gear slightly longer than it should.
1st to 2nd gear change point is normally 2500rpm where as she is changing at about 3800-4000rpm.
If drive in manual mode it changes perfectly fine.
If this bothers you, you can replace the box for $3500 installed (quotes by multiple wreckers)
Or you can rebuild this box for $1650-$2300 (quotes by multiple transmission specialists.
Or you can keep driving like I have for the past year.
Drive this daily and do approx 400-500kms weekly
The transmission ecu has been replaced, transmission flushed, new gasket & filter and also new speed sensors (genuine) to attempt to rectify the issue.
Overall the vehicle drives fine and is our daily commuter but again does hold first slightly longer than usual which to most wouldn’t notice this problem unless pointed out.
This is listed 3-5k cheaper than other Jimny’s with similar kms and condition to account for any further repairs if you may wish.
Never been off road as you can see from underneath it’s spotless.
No time wasters please.
