So why am I selling?
I have three Tesla’s: A 2016 Model X, a 2018 Model 3 and this beautiful, 2020 Model S barely one year old in perfect condition. We moved from Pennsylvania where we had a townhouse with four available parking spaces. Here in New Hampshire, we have only two indoor parking spaces. Unfortunately, there is a restriction in the condo documents to having only two vehicles on the property. Check my 100% positive feedback and buy with confidence.
Why it is worth $87,190? Because it’s $10k less than a new 2021 Model S:
$84,990 MSRP for 2021 long range
$2,000 Interior white upholstery
$10,000 Full Self Driving option
$1,200 Destination Fee
$97,190 TOTAL for a new 2021 Tesla Model S
The 2020 model S has substantially the same specifications as the 2021 model S and the exterior is nearly identical. It is the same basic car, but for $10,000 less. Also, not everyone likes the yoke steering wheel and the new interior. For example, the 2020 model has the familiar round steering wheel, with stalks and mechanical controls for things like windshield wipers, turn signals, side mirrors, gear selection and the like.
It comes with the prepaid Full Self Driving (FSD) option. The $10,000 FSD option means that Tesla has promised to make the car self-driving in the future. There are two possible outcomes from this situation. Outcome one, Tesla actually furnishes the car with the software and hardware to make it a real robotic self-driving car. At that point, the value of the car will skyrocket as the FSD option will be worth much more than $10,000. Outcome two, Tesla will never be able to make FSD work and will be forced to refund the amount paid for the option. Either way, you are the winner.
The price is right. A recent review of 27 Model S’ listed online averaged an $87,320 asking price with an average of 10,780 miles. But not all the 2020 Tesla Model S’ on the market come with the prepaid FSD option. This one does. And that’s why it is worth $87,190.
