This is the original electric executive vehicle, the Tesla Model S! Just one year off from being amongst the first Model S's released, this 2013 Model S still drives remarkably well and still performs gut-wrenching 0-60mph launches (and even more exhilarating 30-70mph launches) in 4.2 seconds like it's fresh out of the Fremont factory. The tires are in good condition with at least 8/32in remaining on all of them. Aside from light micro swirls, light scratches on the rear bumper, a rock chip on the left rear door, and some treated rock chips on the nose cone, paint is in overall good condition. This vehicle does NOT come equipped with some features found commonly in newer Teslas, such as Autopilot and Sentry Mode, but does still have Free Unlimited Supercharging.
Shipping: Free local pickup and delivery in the greater Austin, Texas-area. Buyer will be responsible for paying for shipping outside of local pickup.
Reason for Selling: As much as I enjoy the balanced integration of technology with the classic luxury car feel, I have to let this Model S go because I've had a recent lifestyle change and can no longer afford this vehicle. There is still a loan out on this vehicle, and all proceeds will go toward satisfying the outstanding loan amount.
Bonus: I've recently inquired to Tesla about an MCU upgrade to the Intel Atom-powered MCU2. This is a $1,500 upgrade, which would improve the user experience but may discontinue Free Unlimited Supercharging, according to some reports. I will leave the upgrade exclusive to the Buy It Now option and according to the winning buyer.
