1986 toyota 4runner hilux v6 commodore motor engineered

Up for sale is my 86 4runner. I've owned this vehicle for nearly 20 years and in that time have turned it from a standard vehicle to what you see today, an ultimately reliable and capable go anywhere 4wd. I've always been a non smoker so no-one has smoked in the car in that period. The conversion was done in 07 and the vehicle has performed flawlessly since then. Some of the mods on the vehicle include:
* V6 3.8 fuel injected commodore engine running all standard commodore running gear for easy maintenance and repair. Diagnostic port and engine check light are both fitted!
* 4 spd auto also from commodore with a Marks Adapter to the transfer case
* Nissan Patrol transfer case
* Power steering off a late model Hilux, fully rebuilt when the motor went in
* Custom made drive shafts and fully compliant exhaust system
* Engine and gearbox both rebuilt at time of installation, gearbox strengthened and hotted up. Specifics available on request
* Engineered by Transport Industry Consultants in July 07
* Twin fuel tanks, both 65 litres each with separate guages in-dash, and a switched transfer pump
* Flexible flares to cover the big wheels
* Landcruiser winch bar reinforced with 5mm plate across the centre
* 12,000 lb winch
* Cibie Super Oscar spot lights
* 3 inch body lift
* 2 inch spring lift
* 2 1/2 inch lift blocks in rear. Vehicle stands 2.05m tall at roof height (so it just fits into most shopping centre car parks)
* 1800 kg tow bar
* new 750 cca battery
* Full set of 5 35x12.5 Mickey T all terrains on new Sunraysias with good tread
* Full set of 5 31x10.5 on good condition Sunraysias for running around on. Speedo is 100% accurate on these tyres!
* Rego till 22/03/15
The motor and gearbox have both been recently serviced. The harmonic balancer has just been replaced as has the sump gasket, water pump, and the brake master cylinder, and the whole braking system was flushed and bled. The vehicle comes with heaps of spare stuff including rear springs, a complete limited slip rear axle setup drum to drum, a spare crankshaft and set of heads for the motor, a Stratos moulded drivers seat, a few extra rims, a custom modified inlet manifold and throttle body with gasket kit, and all sorts of odd bits and pieces. All the fittings to finish putting A/C on the vehicle are there as well. You don't have to take any or all the spares if you don't want to but if you do i suggest bringing a trailer.
This has been an amazing vehicle and I'm selling it very reluctantly but I just don't get the time to use it anymore.
