Description
2008 Toyota 4Runner Limited 4.7 Liter V8excellent condition, RWD
We bought our 4Runner from the dealership. Wepride ourselves on maintaining our cars perfectly, for example we have the oiland filters changed every 4000to 6000 miles. Even at 150K miles the enginedoesn’t use a bit of oil. Major services at 30K intervals have all beenperformed by Toyota.
Although we have the V8 we get 16 city / 23highway. The engine uses regular gasoline. Occasionally when we towour 3500-pound tent trailer our highway mileage is 15 mpg. The only thingwhich doesn’t work consistently is the CD player which we haven’t fixed becausewe don’t own any CD’s after our house burned to the ground in the 2017 ThomasFire. We are selling our 4Runner because we’ve purchased a 2021 Jeep GrandCherokee V8. We would have ordered a Toyota but they no offer the V8 engine inthe 4Runner, since 2009. There are few mid-sized SUV’s that offer aV8engine.
The cargo volume in the 4Runner for haulingstuff is outstanding. The rear door opening is 49” wide x 33” high. Plus, therear window which is remotely operable allows one to easily transport longitems, such as 12-ft lumber which isn’t possible in most SUV’s, a feature Iwill dearly miss.
Toyota 4Runner 2008 Limited Edition, 5-door 4.7L VVT i-Force 8 cylinder,mid-sized SUV, rear wheel drive (not 4X), exterior color: Titanium Metallic, heated seats are beige leather, memory settings for driver and passenger seats,60/40 fold-down rear seats, daytime running lights, power glass sunroof, rearspoiler, self-leveling suspension, factory tow package, running boards, premiumsound, roof rack, heated mirrors, fog lights, power rack and pinion steering,no navigation, limited slip differential, self-closing rear hatch, no third-rowseating, no rear camera, WeatherTech floor mats. Owner’s Manual. Not 4WD(RWD). Wired for electric brake controller.
No body damage, no rust, no accidents, no flooddamage, no damage to frame, no damage to interior (some wear on driver’s seat),minor scratches on front andrear bumpers, all mechanical works perfectly, odometer is accurate 149,800, all maintenance performed per manufacturer’s recommendations, very good tread life on Goodyear Wrangler tires P265/60R18, full size spare, alloy wheels, 18x7rims, towing capacity = 7300 pounds, 260 hp @ 5400 rpm, 308lb-ft @ 3400. Made in Japan.
Last major service performed at 137,700 at Toyota Ventura included new brakes, wheel bearings, rear axle bearings, engine seals, and timing belt, was$5400.Both catalytic converters, serpentine belt, and radiator were previouslyreplaced, new battery Jan 2020.
