Description
Original survivor 1977 Celica GT Liftback. Incredible condition. One owner vehicle that has always been garage kept and very well maintained. Original Paint, exterior is in excellent condition. Unbelievable for a 38 year old vehicle. No rust and only a few minor rock nicks that have been touched up. Interior is A+ with no fading, dash is like new with no cracks. Mechanical condition is excellent and vehicle runs and drives like it did when it was new. Original owner has added a new stereo and a remote CD player located in the liftback area. Owner kept the original Stereo and faceplate which goes with the vehicle in case you want to restore to exact factory original. Original owner stated that the Transmission was rebuilt and a new clutch installed less than 20K miles ago. Shocks, struts, and brakes have less than 10K miles on them. I have added new tires and replaced cracked vinyl panels on drivers seat. The brake system was drained and flushed and new fluid added. After installing a new set of tires, a shimmy was felt in the right front tire. The right front control arm, Idler arm, pitman arm and all tie rods were replaced with new parts to correct this shimmy issue. Now this Celica not only runs like it did when it was new, it drives and handles like it did when it was new. Vehicle has been maintained very well and the engine bay is exactly as it was when I purchased it and has never been detailed. I have only washed the exterior and vacummed the interior. Professional detailing and waxing should yield a vehicle that is very close to like new.I owned a 1977 Celica GT Liftback from 1978 through 1985 and I can say that this vehicle is nicer than my original. Very rare and hard to find an original survivor in this condition that runs and drives like it should. Everything works with the exception of the washer sensor on the ESP system. I have been unable to find a replacement sensor. A great collector's car that is great like it is. Could easlily be restored to like new condition since it isn't far from that standard as is. Willing to entertain serious offers on this rare hard to find collector's car. $500.00 deposit within 48 hours after the close of the auction. Remaining price to be paid by cash or cashier's check within seven days. Purchaser can pickup vehicle and drive it home, or I will be happy to work with you and your shipper to have the vehicle shipped to you. Buyer pays all shipping costs. Let me know if you have any questions.
