Description
Red Toyota Celica GT 1999T - Immaculate
We are reluctantly selling our Toyota Celica. We have had this car since 2001 and it has served us proudly, always reliable, always fun and a pleasure to drive. It has been so looked after and cared for - this year alone it has received a respray to the bonnet, door handles and mirrors, new alloy wheels and 2 new tyres to the front. The body work is in fantastic condition, the engine has 101,000 genuine, easy miles on the clock, FSH and paper work going back to 2001.
As you can see in the pictures, the car is still a head turner and has not aged like other sports cars of the late 90's era. Destined to be a classic, if you are after a red sports car that is reliable, looks good, moves when it needs to but cant spend a fortune then this is the car you have been waiting for.
There are plenty of cheaper versions on ebay, but you get what you pay for, thrashed and covered in chips and rust. This is the one you have been waiting for to come along - first person to see it will buy it. You will not spend a better £2000 than on the purchase of this car, I almost don't want to sell it, indeed our plan was to keep the car for years to come hence the outlay this year, however an unexpected grandchild is on its way and the two rear bucket seats in the Celica will not accommodate a baby seat for days out with the new baby, so I must bow to pressure from the Mrs and replace it with something more practical.
What can I tell you about it - cloth interior, air conditioning, new perfect condition alloy wheels, central locking (via key), electric windows, electric door mirrors, power steering, four sports seats.
Anything wrong with it? The only thing is that the alarm no longer works so the button on the key fobs don't remotely unlock the doors, you open the central locking doors via the key - easily rectified if you wish but never bothered us - the immobiliser works so the car is still theft proof. Only other thing is a couple of small cracks in the head lights and the rear parcel shelf is wobbly on one side. Other than that, the car is in perfect condition. It has a full service history and 12 months MOT to run.
Come and view it - you will not be disappointed - looks the business.
