Description
I have a half finished project that I need gone. It is a 1975 Toyota Crown which the engine has been swapped from the 4M 2.6L straight 6 to the DOHC 5M-GE 2.8L fuel injected motor out of a 1985 Toyota Cressida.
The engine has been profesionally rebuilt by PLR Performance Engines in Brendale, QLD and has had quite a few extra things done to it.
The engine has had:
Brand new pistons and rings installed
Pistons, cylinder head combustion chambers and exhaust ports ceramic coated and piston skirts teflon coated
Brand new valves and shimmed intake valve springs
Performance valve seat angles on intake valves
Blue printed, moly coated gears and shimmed in brand new oil pump from a 7M-GTE engine
High flow oil line from pump to block
Camshafts have been re-ground by Tighe Cams Brisbane to around a 262 profile
Exhaust manifold is a standard one off a 7M-GTE and have a brand new non genuine CT26 turbocharger that bolts to the manifold
Megasquirt MS3-PRO Engine control unit from America
Full set of Speethut gauges with GPS speedo from America
Innovate Motorsports wideband AFR sensor
All temperature and pressure sensors for gauges and ECU
Nolathane engine mounts
The vehicle has also had:
Steering box rebuilt (likely need adjusting still)
Gearbox rebuilt
New heavy duty clutch fittedFront brake calipers were re-kitted about 6 months before it was taken off the road and new pads fitted
Had new headlights fitted about 12 months ago. Wiring is a bit average though
It is a project so to get it running it will need:
Interior to be re-fitted and new carpet fitted
Fuel system, Intake System, Boost Exhaust and Cooling systems all made up for the engine
Injectors to suit turbo application
Some oil lines and fitting made for the turbo and remote oil filter
All electrics to be done
Bodywork fixed up in places (need to bolt all the front panels on properly, do something with the boot spoiler etc)
Pitman arm for steering box needs replacing (Have one on there atm from a different car, not right size. Old one is with car but balljoint is worn)
Suspension could probably do with some work (Has cut springs in the rear and lowered springs in the front)
Its sitting on a set of Enkei Apache IV in 14x7 front and 14x8 rear with near new tyres.
The first two photos are what it was like before being taken off the road.
Item is advertised elsewhere so I may take down the ad if there are no bids
