1990 Toyota Hilux Surf SSR * RARE 2-DOOR * Turbo Diesel LN130 4x4

Here is my awesome Phoebe (the Fourbe) which I am regrettably selling due to moving to QLD.

It’s a rare 2-door
- 2.4l Turbo-Diesel (2LTE engine)
- manual (5-speed)
- automatically engaging diffs (electronic)

and set up with a drawer system perfect for camping / sleeping in the car. Original rear seats / carpet are included with the sale.

Previous owner (of 10+ years) was a retired diesel mechanic. I have owned the Surf for the past 12-months making many trips to The Grampians (Victoria).
A few points to mention:
- There is a crack at the bottom drivers side of the windscreen.
- A crack in the rear passenger tail light.
- The rear electric rear window works fine using the control switch inside the vehicle, but doesn’t function when triggered with the key in the rear tailgate.
- Exhaust leak.
- Power steering box is leaking and noisy.
- An injector has a slight leak
- Aircon has been disconnected by previous owner as it had a leak.
- Radio/Stereo does not work
-Power mirrors do not work (but adjustable by hand)
- Bonnet seems to be resprayed in a matte finish (possibly a home job but not too bad).
-' Timing Belt' light has appeared now that the vehicle has clocked over 300,000km's. Will need doing.
- Previous owner and myself have changed the oil every 5,000km's.
- New glow plugs were installed 2,000km's ago.
- New fuel filter installed 2,000km's ago.

I will be sad to see this go, but will be living in an apartment so have to go without.
