I am the 2nd Owner of this Hilux the last model made in Japan. This car is honest with original paint work. Nothing has been touched up. The panels are straight. It is in absolute perfect mechanical working order & the engine runs beautifully. There are no rattles. Fully serviced + service book & service invoices. With the tall aerial removed it is 2.07M tall at the highest point.
In 2009, ARB & TJM installed $27,000 worth of accessories & I have all the invoices for the accessories that I list below. All the accessories were the best of breed at the time of installation. After installation, I took the vehicle to Rover Park, for a family camping trip & made sure every accessory was installed & performing correctly. Since then, this truck hasn’t done another 4wd trip but has been used for domestic tasks. It has never been taken on the beach. I drive this car weekly to keep the engine & all the components running well & greased. It’s not my daily drive and i intended to keep this car 40 years as a collectible despite it being a well equipped as a trade car and 4wd car.
I have changed every worn mechanical component possible using a ‘no cost’ company vehicle maintenance plan. CV joints, ball joints, drive shafts and more were changed for new despite only having the normal/minor wear for the KM’s done. It’s very sad for me to let this truck go but some realities in life mean I must.
