Toyota Hilux RV6 4WD

Well equipped 4WD that was purchased for my ex-wife (to replace the Jeep that I wanted back) . I am chasing the exact odometer reading when the Engine and Auto Transmission were rebuilt. I purchased it based on the equipment. Simple things like Bull Bar and Running Boards but more importantly good Yokohama Geolander tyres, ARB Rear Diff Locker with onboard compressor, Swing out spare carrier and overall great condition with the previous owner having had it for over 10 years. In overall very good condition. Upon getting it to my place I noted the left hand front CV boot split and grease everywhere. The complete inner and outer assembly was changed for a new unit at a cost of $500. No half measures! Now lets talk about the main feature I was after - LPG. The previous owner was honest about the LPG Tank being out of certification. I still purchased on the basis of being prepared to get the certification done. Then I took overseas work and could not control the circumstances so my ex got to use my Jeep and the Toyota is surplus to needs. READ CAREFULLY : this is to be clear, from what I learnt about registering a car with an LPG Tank installed. You CANNOT register without the Tank not certified, even if you think you won't fill it or use it. That's one obstacle. Second obstacle is that you CANNOT bleed any LPG out of the system and remove the TANK / System yourself. Either approach requires a Licensed LPG Mechanic ! and at a cost that I CANNOT provide here as I decided not to continue. Inspection is best. This is now priced at a loss of money to myself but at a price that is more than reasonable for the equipment and condition for somebody wanting a smaller comfortable 4WD. I AM OVERSEAS AT THIS TIME.
