Description
This is a 1979 right hand drive extended bed FJ40. The only modification is that power steering was added. Aside from that, it is 100% original. This Land Cruiser was built in the Jakarta, Indonesia Toyota manufacturing plant and is still in Jakarta today in excellent condition.
I will be clear that I'm from Arizona and I'm working as a broker for classic and antique vehicle sales in Indonesia. It's a very fun job and I very much enjoy it. My wife is Balinese and we have a baby boy here and still live in her village in Bali. Because of this, I have permission from the Indonesian government to work in Indonesia. It really is classic Toyota heaven here due to one of the main factories in the world being located in Jakarta in the 70s and 80s.
For payment options, I prefer an international bank transfer due to it being the cheapest in regards to fees. My mother also lives in Tucson, Arizona and can help process the payment within the states in front of a notary if necessary. Or, alternatively you could fly to Jakarta with the USD in hand and complete the transaction here while also overseeing the shipping process (I may be able to offer a discount for this payment method that might be enough to cover your plane ticket). Many options available.
The shipping quote I got (screenshot shown in photos) is from the most reliable shipping company in Bali who also has the best reputation for customer service and English speaking skills. I prefer that the buyer deals directly with them, but if for any reason I need to get involved to help with making the payment I can indeed help with that to make the process as easy as possible for the buyer. The quote is $3,550 to Los Angeles.
