Description

Nice, Clean, Excellent Running Land Cruiser.
Dry, Arizona vehicle came to the Idaho high desert in 2010 and Pennsylvania in 2014, garage kept.
Factory Drivetrain
Factory Radio! (untested)
Hard Top
New or rebuilt; Axles, Differentials, Transmission and Transfer case and lockers. It rides just and good as my 1999 Jeep TJ and it shifts much better.
All new steering and suspension. Old Man EMU shocks and springs.
Newer Tires
professional work done with receipts.

Excellent, Reliable, Daily Driver dependability. Runs well, idles well, Tracks straight, tight steering, tight shifting, factory disc brakes. Good body, Good glass, Good interior. All gages work, oil pressure, fuel, fan, temp, all lights work. No shakes or play in the steering, it steers great and not worth it for power steering.

Paint is okay, other shades of white are apparent in places mostly on the drivers side (see pics). Small sheetmetal screw holes in the body where the diamond plate was previously installed. The interior tub has been Rhino Lined (see video)

The pass side ambulance door has the most rust by far, of any part of the vehicle, you can see that everything else is very good. Frame is fantastic and has no issues. I recently rebuilt the front of the engine due to a timing chain cover oil leak. No leaks. I work at a township with full time mechanic, he does the work on this vehicle. He speaks highly of the smooth running engine and he’s available to speak to.

INCLUDED:
Roof Rack
Both jump seats. Powder coated with new padding & upholstery
Miscellaneous replacement rubber.
Original carburetor and air cleaner
FJ40 Shop Manual
Vehicle History Report
+ Extra misc parts such as carb. new window and door seals.

*Vehicle history reports an accident. I do not know any details about it. This cruiser was professionally restored/rebuilt and title reflects this. It passed all inspections to be safely put back on the road. Knowing this, I looked the Cruiser over very carefully and checked out w/me. You are welcome to do the same. I felt that two words on the title didn't diminish the privilege and pride of ownership with such a cool classic. All quality work with new or original parts. I assume a previous owner chose to total it for insurance, then fixed and re-sold. In addition, when I brought it to Pennsylvania it had to go through a detailed enhanced inspection, it passed with no issues. I work at a police department and the fleet mechanic has worked on this FJ, he has complimented on its great mechanical condition.

I love these trucks and am only selling to fund another hobby.
