Classic 1982 Toyota Landcruiser 474000 kilometers
Selling only due to after doing all work listed below the wife telling me after osteoporosis setting in the ride is too hard for her to travel any distance in
History of vehicle:
My Father bought it Brand new in 1983 from Jacob Toyota in Walla in the Riverina, so hasn't lived near the ocean (although as you can see I have taken it up to 90 mile beach) I do an underbody treated with Lanotec heavy-duty lanolin oil to stop underbody surface rust, I've owned it for the last 10 years after my father passed away.
It had done 408000 kilometers
So it was rebuilt for sentimental reasons & cost didn't come into it.
Bodywork is original & never been in an accident, In looking around it I cannot find the slightest of a dent.
Work carried out by North Vic Engines 4x4 in Cobram Vic
Rebuilt Original Motor & had injection pump rebuilt for aftermarket DTS Turbo set-up
They also fitted,
New: Turbo kit, Alternator, Starter motor, Radiator, viscus fan, hoses, belts etc fitted
Machined flywheel & a new heavy duty clutch kit went in
They also fitted a 5 speed rebuilt Gearbox & transfer case, (originally a 4 speed) so new tailshafts & unijoints went in
Also a tuned exhaust & snorkel
Running the length of the tailshaft is an extra long-range fuel tank, (filled from original filler neck) so 170 litres all up, (it is full of fuel at present) as we were set to go away before lockdown.
Oil cooler with an electric fan & Dash gauge fitted for Turbo,
Suspension upgraded with Nolathane bushes & Pedders springs (not sure how high its lifted it)
Monroe shocks all round with added air bags in coil springs in the rear
Probably 80% tread left in Bridgestone tyres on Sunraysia rims
Bull Bar with driving lights, towbar & side steps
2 brand new Dual Batteries (12/04/21)
Set-up with an additional fuse box (fitted behind left front kick panel) for extras to be run from,
being an Anderson Plug for caravan at rear, power socket for Engel fridge & aux socket in rear cargo area, UHF radio, radio with usb port,
Also fitted was a SAAS 14inch sports steering wheel & centre console with bucket seats out of a Sahara
New front door locks & hinges & struts for rear tailgate.
Front & rear seat covers, dash mat & rubber dished floor mats,
Heatshield & thick underfelt put under carpet,
Tinted windows (3 different shades from front to rear to keep it legal)
Front hubs rebuilt with all new bearings etc, all new tie rod ends
New front Brake discs with rebuilt calipers, with all new brake hoses fitted
New Brake & Clutch boosters fitted with an added vacuum tank underneath,
Underbody treated with Lanotec heavy-duty lanolin oil to stop underbody surface rust,
New Brake & Clutch master cylinders fitted
Rear Diff having a brand new Limited diff centre put in with new outer bearings etc.
Probably other things that I have forgotten..
Lots of spares with belts, complete steering column, steering box, heater fan, Dash cluster to name a few things

Victorian Registration OWG728.. registered till September next year
