Description
2002 Toyota Land Cruiser
2 owners (I'm the second owner)
Clean title (I can provide you the Carfax report at no cost to you)
Odometer: 124,700 miles
The "good":
Low milage. Real miles.
It is in excellent mechanical condition without any issues. Zero leaks of any sort. You can drive it with all confidence across the country today and take the "scenic route" along the way.
Absolutely everything works in this truck as it should. From all mechanical, electronics, power everything, blows cold AC, it is all in good working condition.
It is in really good condition cosmetically speaking, especially considering its age.
Below, everything that has been added / replaced since I bought it:
Mechanical
- ALL fluids were flushed and replaced
- Oil change with Mobil1 full synthetic oil every 5000 miles
- Fuel tank and hoses were replaced with new OEM
- Fuel pump was replaced with new OEM
- Vapor canister was replaced with OEM
- R1 concepts high performance brakepads installed all around
- Front axles where regreased, packed bearings and re-booted with OEM parts.
Sound system
- Bluetooth transmitter installed in-dashboard. Works flawlessly with the sound system.
- All OEM speakers were replaced with new CDT audiophile speakers
- Sound deadening material added to rear interior quarter panel
- OEM subwoofer was replaced with new driver. While it doesn't give a big "boom" sound (it never will with a 6" driver), it is very clear and a huge improvement over OEM.
Performance
- BF Goodrich KO2 285/75R16 tires (5 tires). 5-tire-rotation done every 5000 miles.
- Yellow Box Speedo recalibrator
- ARB transmission differentials breathers.
- Ironman4x4 shocks, front torsion bars, rear springs, front differential dropper, all giving it 2" lift.
- SPC adjustable front upper control arms
- Trail Tailor longer / heavy duty swaybar link (front and back)
- Trail Tailor heavy duty (rear) upper and lower control arms (with grease ports for servicing)
- Trail Tailor Rock Sliders
- Trail Tailor hidden winch plate
- Ironman 12k lbs winch with synthetic rope and wireless remote control.
- Factor 55 winch shackle
- Hurricane fabrication tailgate drawer system (creates a storage compartment inside the tailgate.
- Tire pressure monitoring system (4 tires)
- Prinsu roofrack. Ready for any cargo / awning / rooftop tent.
- ASFIR full skid plates (front, engine, front differential and transfer case)
- LED headlights and fog lights upgrade
- ScanGauge reader
- Custom grill
- Interior lights updated with LED lights.
- Weathertech all-weather mats all around
The "less good":
This cruiser spent part of its life up north and developed some rust before the previous owner had it treated and repaired. The undercarriage was sprayed with a rust inhibitor. So, while it was addressed, repaired and there is no rust currently on the truck, if you look closely in some areas you can see some "scars" where there was once some rust. Again, this truck will last decades more without issues, but just being upfront about it.
There are stains on the carpet in some areas (see photos).
The center console's latching mechanism broke. I installed a magnet and metal plate to fix it. Not OEM quality, but it works.
The seating area of both front seats shows significant wear (see photos). Other than that, the back portion, the whole middle seats and the 3rd row (not in the pictures, but it is included) are in really excellent shape showing not much wear at all.
Comes with two fob keys, manual and roadside emergency tools.
Selling because I bought a 200-series and I want to build it up. I need the money to finance that project :)
For pick up if you are coming in from out of state, I'd be happy to pick you up at RDU airport. I'll even top off the gas tank so you may start your journey enjoying your new truck right away.
