40 Series Landcruiser

Here we have an abandoned project. I bought this 8yrs ago with the intention to lavish it with mods & upgrades to make it one of the best. Due to my poor time management & skills it remains much as I bought it, but with some mods. It has some rust as you can see from the pictures. The underside is in very good condition. A while back I had all the brakes replaced with a disc brake conversion. It had all the wheel bearings, kingpin bearings & seals replaced. There is a small weep from the front hubs due to standing for so long. It starts & drives. There was an issue with the alternator which blew the fusible link. I have a new alternator to go on it. I haven't replaced the link as I have misplaced the old one & don't know where it goes exactly. An easy fix for an auto elec I have been led to believe. It has also had a 60 series p/s conversion, which means it's easy to steer. It has front bucket seats & recent seatbelts in the front. It has half leather folding seats in the rear. There are loads of bits to go with it. I have door hinges / seals, door handles & locks, new bonnet hinges & wear pads. I also have two spare doors, bonnet, guards, windscreen surround & a a/c kit to go with it. There will be odds & sods that I have missed off but they will go with it also. There is no roadworthy. It is sold as is with no warranty implied or given. I encourage inspections. The old girl maybe rough around the edges, but it wouldn't take too much to have it on the road. These are becoming in short supply & I am in no hurry to sell as it owes me nothing. The start price I believe is fair & realistic taking everything into consideration & wont be reduced. I am open to sensible offers. I will endeavour to answer all questions. Just allow a little time.
