1987 Toyota Land Cruiser

This FJ60 is exceptionally clean and original with factory 4 speed manual transmission, factory A/C, original Toyota motor, factory AM/FM radio in excellent condition with fully functional OEM power antenna. It still retains the factory floor mats in nice condition. Since I purchased the truck back in 1998 I have replaced or restored too many parts to list using NOS parts whenever possible, including five NOS wheels, NOS front wheel hubs, OEM radiator, OEM leaf springs, OEM steering stabilizer, NOS door handles, NOS front grill and NOS light bezels, NOS exterior mirrors, front grill and other trim pieces. Also during that time, I had the carburetor and upper end of the engine rebuilt, the clutch and A/C compressor replaced, and new shocks, exhaust and a new alternator installed. Several years ago I replaced all the carpet with NOS carpet, which still looks great. As you can see in the photos, the Interior is exceptionally clean through out. The front seats were carefully disassembled and re-cushioned. There are no tears in the original fabric. The headliner is in very nice condition, no sagging or rips. Recently done: front brakes, rear heater replacement, A/C recharge, and engine tune up. I had it repainted in the original factory blue (due to small dings and scratches and some fading;) and I installed NOS bumpers front and back with NOS end caps. Comes with clean original tool kit, jack and owner's manual. Since I owned the car the small amount of body work necessary was repaired with metal. It has five Michelin radials in excellent condition (spare tire still unused.) While taking the photos, I noticed that the plastic headlight washer reservoir is cracked, and there is a very small crack in dash pad (upper right passenger side). Has cold A/C and excellent heat front and back. I have kept this FJ60 garaged and smoke free and driven it mainly on weekends. 4WD works smoothly. I have obsessively maintained and repaired this truck. Stars right up in summer and winter. This Land Cruiser runs very strong, and drives as good as it looks. Save yourself time and effort and purchase a super nice Cruiser that's ready to enjoy.
