Description

1989 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ62

This Cruiser has had extensive work done. I believe I am the 4th owner. This car was purchased and has stayed in CA until I purchased it in 6/14. This has been my daily driver. 233k original miles. This has the fuel injected straight 6 engine with the 4 speed automatic (both are renown for their durability and reliability). Below is a portion of the work that has been done to this Cruiser.

177k - Engine rebuilt - $7,907 (12/01)
187k - Transmission (A440F) rebuilt - $6,141 (7/03)
04/07
-Man-A-Fre tie rod ends
-Man-A-Fre steel brake hose kit
02/02 - $4,022
-OME suspension kit
-38 gallon fuel tank
-OME Nitro shocks (medium)
-ARB front bull bar bumper
-OME leaf spring front (light)
-OME leaf spring rear (dual)
-OME shackles
-Mallory fuel pump
10/05 - 200k miles
-Brake master cylinder
01/07
-Knuckle kit w/ wheel bearings
05/14 - 230k miles
-Front and rear differentials rebuilt (no receipt from last owner)
I have done the following in the past few months:
-New tires and rims from a 2013 Tacoma (with 1.5” aluminum spacers). Tires have less than 3k miles on them. Brand new full size spare as well.
-A/C switched to new refrigerant
-Replaced head gasket
-New rear lights
-New windshield

There is an onboard air compressor with fittings on the front and rear bumpers. Air storage tank in front bumper.

The seats have Wet Okole seat covers. The original seat upholstery looks amazing.

The center console is cracked in a few places, and the rear seat heater does not function.

Window tint could be replaced to make it look nice.

There are a few surface rust spots on:
-front hood (driver’s side)
-top and back of roof
-bottom of rear windows.
This Cruiser has extremely little rust being in CA its whole life. It has always been garaged as well.

The passenger windows do not roll down. Mechanic stated it is most likely the window lock switch. The driver’s window works.

This Cruiser can handle 33x12.50 tires if desired.

I have most of the receipts and paper work throughout the life of this Cruiser. Included is also the original window sticker and microfiche from Toyota.

Please call, text or email with any questions. Spring is coming and this will not last.
