Description
TOYOTA LAND CRUISER 60 SERIES 1983
Vehicle has been in storage for approximately 3 years while i have been overseas. I dont have the time or the money for 4x4s anymore so i have decided its time to let this one go.
There is not much of the original truck remaining and i will list the modifications below, as far as the body and chassis goes its in pretty good shape for a bush truck it has various dints and scratches which is expected from off road trips however its reasonably straight with not much rust at all compared to some of the other 60 series i have seen. Due to being in the mud all the time i decided it was easier to strip all the carpet out and run rubber over steel. It does need some work before i would take it out in the bush but it drives well otherwise.
ENGINE: Runs excellent, lots of power and torque for a gas engine!
4.2l 2F engine running straight LPG 2X 60lt tanks (rebuilt approx 30,000kms ago)Piranha electronic ignition re-mapped for LPG Impco 300a gas mixer (carby replaced for an air speed spacer) Twin 3" snorkel setup (custom made) BODY:
Chopped rear guards RASLARR engineering front comp bar with 2x lightforce XGTs RASLARR engineering rear bar with side railsSet of flares and mud flaps included Bucket style drivers seat (original included)SUSPENSION:
Professional spring over conversion: axles chopped rotated and re welded for correct angles, hi steer kit etc.Standard springs grease nipple shackles Koni shock absorbers Tough dog RTC steering dampner
DRIVE LINE:
Custom made drive shafts for spring over conversion, new uni joints Scooped transfer case guard for clearance of drive shafts Standard 60 series diffs fitted with ARB air lockers front and rear (90% complete, never used) Any bearing and seal to do with wheels and diffs inc pinion and CVs etc was replaced less than 5000kms ago 5spd gearbox with transfer case in great condition Warn locking hubs BRAKES:
Standard 60 series brakes front discs, rear drumsFront rotors and pads replaced 5000kms agoRear drums and shoes replaced 5000kms agoExtended handbrake cable for spring over conversion WHEELS:
SIMEX extreme trekker 2s 36x12.5x15 (40% tread) x4 15x10 sun rims with external bead locks (hold air extremely well)Bead lock bolts all drilled out to M10 high grade bolts 4x Standard 60 series alloy rims with 31" tires I have all the rest of the parts required to finish installing the air lockers (wiring, switches, tubing and air tank) all the hard work is done
The rear quarters need to be sanded and painted
Gas level gauges need to be installed
A lot of the wiring and hoses need to be cleaned up
The 4x4 stick boot needs replacing
The rear door flap has a large dint :(
Needs a new battery
There is probably a few things i have missed and for a truck like this i would recommend coming to have a look.
It would suit somebody looking to build up a comp truck or use all the accessories and modifications on something you are already building.
Vehicle will be sold with NO ROADWORTHY AND NO REGISTRATION
I am not interested in trades. CASH ONLY
