This vehicle has been meticulously serviced and runs well.
Timing Belts have been changed regularly when required.
Motor currently has approximately 508 000 kms on it and there is still plenty of life in the engine.
The cylinder head was reconditioned some 60 000 kms ago.
The diesel injectors were changed when required. Air conditioning works great and it had a new compressor fitted a few years back. Disc brake rotors and pads were changed last year. New front wheel and swivel bearings were done just recently.
As with most Toyota Landcruiser 80 series, the gear box has trouble changing down into second gear.I have got used to it and just double clutch when changing gears.I find this does the trick.
Like most 20 year old cars, it has a few dents and scratches on it, but there is no major damage.There is no rust in the metal work but I did notice some surface rust around the rear windows so I have treated it with kill rust and coated it with white gal met paint finish to protect the surface.Paint work is a bit rough but it is better than rust!
