Up for sale is my 1988 Toyota MR2.The exterior pictures have the old number plates on but it is currently registered in Queensland. (It will come with a safety certificate.) It's currently my daily driver but would also make a great track car.
It is white with a blue interior and original wheels.
It has an Alpine head unit with a subwoofer and amp behind the passenger seat.
The previous owner also swapped in a newer version of the engine - the Silvertop 20 valve 4AGE engine. It's a great motor with a little more power and torque than the original. It also has an aftermarket exhaust attached. The exhaust and intake sound is great.
The car runs and drives great. It's the best handling car I've ever driven and it does actually have a usable space in the boot. The reason I'm selling is that I'll be needing 4 seats soon and the MR2 is strictly a 2-seater.
There are a couple of cracks in the dash and one of the air vents is loose. There is also a crack in the front lip (fibreglass piece), but it's in good condition for its age. The air-conditioning is not installed at the moment (the previous owner didn't put it back on after the engine swap) but I do have all of the components in a box ready to go back in. There is also a pair of brighter replacement headlights (although there's nothing wrong with the current ones) and a pair of coloured mudguards for the back if you ever want to use them.
If you don't require a safety certificate (if you're buying interstate) then I can take a couple hundred dollars off the price.
