RARE DIESEL 5-speed Toyota pickup.One family owner.Good condition.

1981 Toyota Pickup 1/2 TON Diesel.One of the rare domestic diesel Toyotas, this pickup was purchased new by my grandfather 40 years ago.It still starts and drives well.Given Toyota's deserved reputation for unmatched design and build quality, combined with my grandfather's careful maintenance and included factory service manuals, it should be good for another 40.Comes with matching camper shell and bed liner.
Despite its incredible qualities and sentimental value, it's not a good fit for my growing family and I've made the hard decision to let it go.
Recent work:Clutch replaced, input shaft bearing on transmission replaced (only known weak point of design!), several synchros replaced.
Cosmetic issues:
Several small spots of rust and flaking in the original paint, as detailed in the photos.A number of dings and scratches acquired over its long life.Vinyl floor mat is worn through on driver side floor and torn on the passenger side.
Mechanical issues:Glow plugs require several cycles for smooth start when cold, and should be replaced.Small fuel leak around throttle shaft of diesel injection pump, needs to have o-ring replaced.Timing belt is due for replacement.
