Description

It's not about miles per gallon It's about smiles per gallon!!!
I am the third owner of this truck that I know of. Bought it years ago completely stock and super shitty. Spent her teenage years in Jackson Hole, Wyoming as my daily driver before and after I did all of the work. She pulls through deep snow like you can't imagine!
"Shitty Truck" has been the most fun I've ever had on 4 wheels.
Through the years I've done a lot of work to her including over $15k worth of work:
-All suspension lift, 3 and 4 inch (to level) trail gear springs with Bilstein reservoir shocks. Shock hoops, axle gussets and all the fun stuff associated with the kit.
-Custom long travel driveline
-Spartan lunchbox lockers
-5.29 gears
-Recently installed Longfield front axles w/ all new bearings, bushings, seals, etc
-IFS power steering box with hydraulic steering assist (steers as easy as a Camry)
-39.5 Pitbull Bias Ply tires w/ American Racing (I believe) Rims (Still tons of tread left w/ the little nubs still on the sides for the most part)
-Optima Battery
-Custom Stinger front winch mount bumper
-Performance clutch installed not too many miles ago
-Recently started her up after sitting for a while and the clutch slave cylinder pissed everywhere so I replace it and the clutch master cylinder.
-Just did a basic tune up with oil, plugs, and the basic stuff
Here is why I am getting rid of "Shitty Truck"
I have been back in Denver for quite some time and she has just been sitting in my garage with an occasional rip around the block. In Jackson, I could drive wherever I wanted and they didn't have emissions testing. Now I would need a trailer and a large truck to tow her around to wheeling trails. I am just tired of seeing the truck go to waste, sitting in my garage and I really want it to go to a good home. I have a very busy catering company and just cant treat my old lady the way I want to anymore.
It still has the original 22r and trans, with most of the emissions stuff in place but it needs a muffler. Runs strong!
I always wanted an aftermarket carb but my ultimate goal was to throw a bigger drive train in her and didn't want to waste the money on a carb if I was going to get rid of it.
I thought of painting it before I posted it to sell, but figured I would let the buyer figure all of that out and you can see the extent of surface rust without it being hidden. The cab floor is a bit rusted, but the frame is beautiful aside from some surface rust. Recently I took about 10 minutes with some rust remover and a wire brush to easily clean up a spot that came off great.
I also have a pile of original and back up parts for it, a component speaker system with receiver and amp that can be installed, and an original door panel that I was going to use to make custom steel door panels for it.
- I have of the main receipts from the original lift and such and have plenty more if you would like to see them.
- Not looking for a trade!!! Moving soon and need less projects!
- Please contact me for more info or to schedule a time to check it out. I am in the West Highlands area in Denver. Checked into shipping it a while ago and the prices do not seem too bad.
Cheers!!!
